3 - Keyword and Keyphrase Tools

Now putting this whole general research back to were you are actually going to be making the sales from. The lovely world of the internet.

Free Tools
Personally i only use one of these as i always use the paid tool. However that's not saying you need the paid tool it just make it a hell of a lot easier and obviously i recommend it if you do have the cash.

Anyhow cutting to the chase. Onto the tools.

There are probably a few different sites that offer the same or what they call better versions that make it easier etc but i recommend the following tools all available to everyone and anyone.

to be continued.....

2 - Finding a Niche

So lets start

There are many ways to find an active and profitable niche and range from online to just looking around you in your every day life. TV, Radio, Current advertisements and even what you just hear other people talking about. Alot of people also start with their hobby, likes, interests etc etc etc. The things that will motivate them enough to want to write about them and want to sell to other people. If you have an interest or hobby in something however weird it may be there is bound to be other people who do to and they want to know about it. Okay some people prefer to go directly for the highest money making product and that can work too it just depends how you want to play it.

The following are places that you can use both online and offline to find niches

- Amazon.com ~ This is a big market place that turns over alot of money and fortunatly for you they have a "Bestsellers" or "Hot Products" section. Find that and look to see what people are buying.

- Shopping.com ~ Another big market place for products. Look for "Top Searches" its located at the bottom in small writting.

- Ebay Pulse ~ Everyone knows ebay and you can spy on what is hot right now in the auction house. Do some research and find a product that you can promote... you cannot go wrong here

- TV ~ Unfortunatly cant link this one lol but hopefully you all have one in your houses. Take a look at the current news, adverts and even the themes featured on soaps. The people that write things to go on tv spend loads of time researching to make sure they wont waste thousands of dollars on something that wont be profitable. (at the time of writting the enviroment and fuel/gas costs are big)

- Radio ~ Exactly the same scenario as the TV but this time its all verbal. Listen to whats being promoted and talked about. Often the talk show type radio stations are better for this about current affairs.

- News stands ~ Take a look over the newsstands and see what is featured on the front pages. Okay you cant go selling products about murder but sometimes something that could be really profitable is featured and is big news.

There are probably other places that you can look to find niches but these are the main places...

Next onto keyword and keyphrase tools :)

1 - Research

This is the most important part of affiliate marketing and will majorly determine the products success and evidently your earning potential.

Don't be scared off by that thought as honestly it is also one of the easiest parts of affiliate marketing too. You just have to do a bit of thinking and understand what you are looking at... all i can say is research research and more research and you will choose the perfect niche to start in.

The best thing however about affiliate marketing is that you do the same thing each time and each time you do it, it gets a lot easier.

You may be wondering why i am starting of with teaching you how to look for a niche market first rather than a product but im going to teach you in the way that you should do it every time. Okay when you get better at affiliate marketing this section might not even need to be used but that would require a substantial amount of previouse knowledge in the sector and also alot of funding.

If you put this into a more real life situation...
You want to start your own lemonade stand and sell lemonade at $0.50 a cup. Okay you have your product but if you dont do any research and go and set up in the middle of no-were then you have no chance at selling any. However if you do some research and for example setup in the middle of new york opn a hot day, then you are more likely to get sales.

This is exactly the same for affiliate marketing research the 'area' you want to go into and then look for the product... If there are no products (which is highly unlikely) then even better take a bigger step and make the product yourself and then you make the even bigger money.

Would Just Like To Welcome Everyone....

hello people,
in my blog i am going to guide you through my first steps into affiliate marketing and show you my successes (hopefully more of these) and my failings (fingers crossed not so many of these) and hopefully teach you along the way.

My aim is to....
Teach anyone and everyone who reads this
Aim for the sky
Learn from all of you
Keep myself motivated

T.A.L.K. --> i find this phrase the most important phrase of all time. Lets face it if you dont talk then you dont learn anything and without talking to people probably like yourselves i wouldnt even be here writing this blog for you.

UPDATES:
Going to try my best to keep you updated on my progress at least once a week but would like to keep it an everyday thing. BUT you all know how life is... so will try my best and i give you all permission to shout at me if i forget about you (which i would never do).

Okay so let's get started on my life as a Noob Affiliate Marketer

(oh and by the way for you people who dont actually know what noob means its kinda a short internet word used for new people or newbies, normally used as an insult so i thought i would use it before any of you lot did... sorry beat ya to it!)
